DAY 1
SÃO BENTO RAILWAY
São Bento Railway Station is one of the most famous train stations in Portugal. It was inaugurated in 1916 and was built on the site of a former Benedictine monastery called São Bento de Avé-Maria.

THE CLÈRIGOS TOWER
The Clérigos Tower is one of Porto's most important and recognizable landmarks. It was built in the 18th century by Italian architect Nicolau Nasoni in the Baroque style.

IGREJA DO CARMO
The Igreja do Carmo and the Igreja das Carmelitas are two historic churches located next to each other in the center of Porto. The Igreja do Carmo is famous for its Baroque façade and its interiors decorated with beautiful blue-and-white azulejos.
The Igreja das Carmelitas, built during the same period, features a simpler yet elegant façade and is distinguished by its slightly tilted bell tower, which can be seen from the street.

IGREJA DAS CARMELITAS
